Unauthorized SIM card cases are on the rise in India. This is causing problems for both the cardholder and the government. A website has been launched by the Department of Telecommunications.

The portal tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in has been launched by the Department of Telecommunications. Anyone can check how many SIMs have been revealed on his Aadhaar card. Apart from this, a request to block a SIM which is not a legal SIM can also be made here.

This means that the user can also turn off the current number in his own name. According to government guidelines, currently only 9 mobile connections can be issued in the name of one person. If more than one SIM card is in someone’s name, it can be turned off.

Let me tell you that this website of TOT is currently available for customers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is believed that it will soon be released in other states of India. This may take some time.

Users will first have to enter their mobile number on the website for how many people have taken SIM in your name. An OTP will then come to your number. Then you will see how many SIMs are active in your name.
